This tutorial shows how to hack the iPhone/iPad game Toy Defense so that you get unlimited money.
What you need is:
- The game Toy Defense on iPad or iPhone
- A file explorer (e.g. iPhone Explorer)
- A text editor
1. Get the XML File
Notice: Before you do the following steps make sure that you quit Toy Defense first. Connect your device with the USB cable to the computer and open your file explorer. Then navigate to your Toy Defense directory which should be in: /var/mobile/Applications/<APP_ID>/Documents/ToyDefense/profiles The APP_ID the unique ID of the Toy Defense installation so you have to open each directory until you see Toy Defense in there.2. Edit the XML File
Notice: In any case you should backup the 0000001.xml file in case something goes wrong so that you can restore it. Now open the downloaded XML file with your favorite text editor and look for the keyword “shop_money”. The line should show something like that: <p n=”shop_money” v=”49665″ t=”Int” /> The value in v is the money value. So in this example I have 49665$. Change the number to your desired amount, make yourself rich!3. Upload the XML File
After you have saved your changes you have to upload the 0000001.xml file back into the folder from where you have downloaded it (see step 1). Now start the game have fun!
